After more than 8 years in the Internet marketing consulting business, Pittsburgh Internet Consulting has developed a consulting service format that can be customized to suit our individual client's needs and budgets. We begin with a free review of your website and a meeting to learn more about your business, products and services. During this initial meeting, we also discuss your website needs, goals and priorities. Here's a summary of how we work with our clients:

Initial Meeting:

• General client market and website needs assessment completed
• Schedule and attend initial meeting to discuss client business, products and services, target market, website goals, current online marketing strategy and budget
• Develop detailed service proposal customized to client’s specific priorities and goals
• Review Service Proposal with potential client and answer all questions

Consulting Service Begins:

1. Signed service contract for 12 month service is received from new client.
2. Client contacts are defined; accounts are set up and log in information is defined and/or collected
3. We get to work:

    • Website structural issues are defined and resolved as needed
      
    • Keyword research, definition, categorization and monitoring
    • SEO & Internet marketing strategy defined & refined

    • Organic traffic
    • Targeted pay per click traffic

    • Traffic from other online marketing efforts
  • Analyze
    • Detail and review website traffic and visitor behaviors using Google Analytics and other web stats software
    • Monitor progress of organic rankings for relevant keywords and phrases in top 3 search engines
    • Create & analyze custom reports as needed
    • Analyze pay per click activity, bids, costs and conversions
    • Summarize and Review other online marketing efforts: link building campaign; banner ads; email campaigns; press releases; & articles
  • Recommend
    • After a thorough analysis of the results, our consultants detail appropriate recommendations to improve and fine tune results in organic rankings, PPC & other online marketing campaigns, website conversions and ROI.
  • Meet
    • We offer clients quarterly, bi-monthly and monthly meeting schedules in their initial year of service. Clients who have completed their first year of services can opt for a maintenance service package that includes a bi-annual meeting schedule. The number of meetings varies by client according to their overall budget, PPC budget and how aggressively they want to pursue results. The number of meetings will be defined in the client’s service proposal.
    • During each meeting, the client will be given a printed and bound meeting packet* that contains all of the detailed and summary reports the consultant used to make their SEO and PPC recommendations as well as their detailed recommendations. The meeting packet may also contain custom reports for the client based on their need for additional decision making tools.
    • During the meeting, the consultant will review the information in the meeting packet with the client’s representatives and answer any questions they have. The consultant will review and explain their recommendations, note approvals and changes based on client feedback as well as any additional service needs the client has at that time.
    • Your consultant will take notes during the meeting and provide you with complete follow up notes and "To-Do List" after the meeting.
  • Implement & Follow Up
    • If content management is not a part of your PIC service package, your consultant will work with your website development company, or in house webmaster, by providing a Work Order of approved SEO recommendations in a copy and paste format for efficient and accurate implementation. Otherwise, your consultant will implement your approved SEO recommendations.
    • All approved PPC recommendations will be implemented by your consultant in a timely manner following each meeting.
    • All other approved online marketing and SEO recommendations will be implemented in a timely manner following each meeting.
    • As much as possible, confirmation of implementation will be included with your follow up notes.
  • Repeat

Initial Consulting Service Concludes

• Create Summary of 12 month progress
• Meet and Review Progress Summary with Client and answer all questions
• Help client decide what service level, if any, is needed going forward. Options at this time include:
  • Remain at same service level
  • Upgrade service level
    
  • Reduce service level
    
  • Take over with in-house management services

  *The meeting packet will be emailed prior to the meeting to clients who are not located in western Pennsylvania.
